Update!

Hey everyone, I have finally got around to making a new blog update! So it’s been a while but not too much has happened other then the stress of leaving uni work untill the last minute. There has been a few things worth mentioning though (not in any particular order);

  • It’s my first day of the holidays today! Wooo! That means I have finished all my exams! (wether or not I passed some of them will be interesting though.
  • I went up to the Blue Mountains to see Jenolan Caves and the Three Sisters with Hayley (an English girl I met on the plane to Manchester). We had a good time and it was well worth taking the break off from studying. We stayed in YHA in Katoomba which was pretty good and it reminded me of hostelling in Europe and how much I miss it as well as the travelling that comes with it. We went out for Thai and amazingly enough it was the first time Hayley had ever tried it and offcause she loved it because everyone loves Thai! Hayley also learnt a bit about Australia and the Aboriginal flag :P she thought it was the Japanese flag hehe. It was really windy though and it would of been a bit better if it wasnt so strong. Hayley sung the whole way in the car hehe (don’t tell her but I don’t think she should go on the British Idol show lol, sorry Hayley!).
  • I bought some snowboarding gear and I’m hoping to use it sooner rather then later!

So thats about all really my friends; Liz and Ben are in New Zealand which I am very jealous about lol, it has prompted me to think about my 21st birthday, I’d much rather travel with a few close friends then have a large party. I’d enjoy it so much more and there are going to be that many 21sts next year I’m pretty sure I’ll be sick of them lol. So I’m thinking about getting a few friends together and going to Queenstow in New Zealand, Queenstown is great, I was there a few years ago but we didn’t experience any of the night life which is meant to be good but I wasn’t old enough :( I’m mostly interested in going for the snowboarding though and that should be awesome :)

I’ve been looking for a casual job, I’ve applied for all the usual big retail companies online and now I need to start going around to little places, its a bit hard at the moment hopefully it picks up after the end of the financial year. Anyway I’ll leave it at that and hope to update soon!
