Designated at Davos

christmas_treeIt was a Friday night and once again Ben and Elizabeth invited me to go out to Davos ,only this time was different as I I decided to come.  I didn’t feel like drinking as I had just got back from Europe and some of the weeks I was there I had been drinking everyday, so I offered to drive us ther. I arrived at Ben’s house to pick him up and I caught up with him and his family, as usual Elizabeth was late but we wern’t in a rush. We then left to pick Lisa up at luckily we had our iPhone’s GPS as she lives practically in the middle of nowhere.

We arrived at Davos and it was pretty boring at first, then some friends arrived that I hadn’t seen since I left Australia, so that was pretty good. It started getting on in the night and everyone was pretty drunk except for me, which is the one thing I hate when I’m designated! I like it when there is atleast one sober person I can talk to, without having to listen to the stupid conversations and random laughing that the drunk people do! I caught up with Brett and remembered I owed him a drink from the night before I left, only problem was I was broke lol so I felt pretty bad. Brett holds his alcohol well usually, either that or he was pretty sober which strikes me as odd for Brett! Anyway Ben was pretty out of it and I was getting pretty bored. So I skooted the girls out and headed off.

At this point someone was particularly drunk and well I had to pull over on the side of the road for someone to relieve themself… unfortunately they did part of the relieving on the outside (thank god it wasn’t the inside!) of my car before everyone was laying in the gutter. Someone decided it was best to tell the person that it would be fun to lay in the middle of the road (this is a main street mind you). We managed to get back in the car and the same person who relieved themself was clearly feeling much better as it was decided they would climb a tree and I quote “because that tree looks like a Christmas tree”. After helping the person get part of the tree that managed to get stuck in their jeans as they fell out of it off. We went set off to Ben’s house, on the way Elizabeth made some interesting suggestions though I promptly denied them, poor Elizabeth (she was joking I hope and so she says in hindsight but you never know with Elizabeth hehe).
